Itinerary

Catch a flight for Athens from the International Airport. Athens is the capital of Greece. It was also at the heart of Ancient Greece, a powerful civilization and empire. On arrival, you will be given private transfers from the Athens Airport to your hotel. Check in and spend some time relaxing or exploring the nearby area on your own. Later, we will proceed for dinner and retire early for the night!

After breakfast, we will proceed on an island tour where we visit the highlights of Mykonos town like the Paraportiani church, the little Venice area, the windmills area, the Matogianni shopping area and during the morning tours the local vegetable and fish market. The bus tour starts with the visit of the beach of Saint Stefanos and then we stop at the Panorama point above Mykonos town with a stunning view and photo spot. Furthermore we drive to the famous beaches of Agios Giannis (from where we have a nice view to the sacred island of Delos), Plati Yalos, Kalafatis and we visit the traditional village in the centre of the island: Ano Mera with its famous 400 years old monastery and beautiful village square.

After breakfast, proceed on a tour of the Santorini Island. Start your journey with a short photo stop at the famous
volcanic beach, well known for the unique color of the sand, its soaring red lava cliffs and clear green waters. Also
proceed to the Akrotiri Excavation Site (Entrance ticket not included: 12 EUR). This is a guided tour of the socalled “Prehistoric Pompei” or “Lost Atlantis”, one of the most important Minoan Bronze Age settlements of
Greece, buried and preserved by the volcanic ash of one of the largest volcanic eruptions in human history (17th
century BC).In the evening proceed to Perissa Beach. Enjoy free time to relax at one of the longest black sandy
beaches In the Cyclades and the most popular beach of Santorini. (Meals: Breakfast & Dinner)

After an early breakfast, catch a flight back to Athens. We will then proceed for a tour of this monumental city. We
will take you to see the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games of modern times were held in 1896
(short stop). Continue and pass by the Prime Minister’s residence (ex Royal Palace) guarded by the Euzones in
their colorful uniform, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian’s Arch, the Parliament and the memorial to the
Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, the Constitution Square (Syntagma). On the
Acropolis visit the Architectural Masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: The Propylaea, the Temple of Athena
Nike, the Erechtheion and finally “the harmony between material and spirit”, the monument that “puts order in
the mind”, the Parthenon. (Meals: Breakfast & Dinner)
